With new technology and ways to connect some seniors are choosing a more nomadic life, based on less is more, and supported by digital tools
From retirement to nomads
Text and drawing by Frits Ahlefeldt
Today we can connect through more ways and to more places than ever before and for seniors the reason to stay in one place maybe soon evaporate, as the kids move and there are more experiences and benefits and a better life quality to be gained by moving around like digital nomads, than by staying in the same place
Going from home to a digital home
If more of us change from living in a home to more having our roots in a digital reality and then moving from place to place in the physical reality, then what will the psychological changes be?
It is still very open how these all new ways of living and connecting will influence our thinking. Will we be more open, more happy, more lonely, more connected… more fragmented?
