There is a unique way of gaining understanding, that can sometimes be both mind-blowing and even impossible, depending on the circumstances. It is to see things as the one we are facing see them

Sometimes it can make things better, sometimes not so much. It is closely connected to both empathy and identification. In some ways it makes it easier for us to relate, in other ways it can actually make it harder.
